From my personal view, I really like this storyline. I’ve always been interested in the action/fantasy genre. I’m not that into horror/gore area but a little bit of it doesn’t hurt. I will admit there were some scenes where I felt uncomfortable watching because I am a person who doesn’t handle gore too well. It’s not that it’s unbearable, but it makes me cringe a lot. Anyways back to the storyline, I thought it was pretty creative. But you know, it is a bit cliche with the, “normal anime character living a normal life until a weird incident happens in which they’re forced to adapt to a new unfamiliar life” storyline. It also reminded me of this Korean Drama I was obsessed with called Korean Odyessy. It shares the same ideas where there are evil entity’s who try to consume this person or in this case Sukuna, because it will make them stronger if eaten. And since I enjoyed that drama a lot, there was no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t enjoy this anime.

My lovely friend who goes by the name Killer recommended Jujutsu Kaisen to me and I am beyond grateful, although it took me a few weeks until I actually decided to watch it. As you can see in the text above I was a bit confused on what he was getting at. I will admit that I did think he was talking about the popular anime series Naruto. I thought this because first, I obviously had never heard of this anime before and second, the “Jujutsu” part in the title reminded me of ninjutsus from Naruto. And since he didn’t specify that it was an anime, I went to search it on YouTube thinking it was some mobile gaming YouTuber. Even after realizing it was an anime and watching mini clips of it, I decided not to watch it. I honestly have no idea why I didn’t watch it from there. Really, I am extremely upset that my dumbass decided to not start the series. But you know, having friends and classmates who watch anime in real life I was advertised and saw many portrait images of the characters in the anime. And then on November 19th, 2020 which would be the day I’m writing this, I saw a tiktok. It was a tiktok of Satoru Gojou revealing his beautiful glossy eyes and that is what initially wrapped me into starting the anime.
